About the Artist...
Dawn Malicki is a self-taught artist. Born in 1970 in Perth Amboy, NJ, Dawn took to art as soon as she was able to hold a crayon. Throughout her childhood, Dawn developed an appreciation for art and searched for all the ways she could express her creativity. She would often sit and draw or paint for hours using different mediums and subject matter. Years of artistic expression made it clear that Dawn's life would be centered upon her passion for art. Dawn is now a freelance artist focusing on glass/surface painting, murals and faux finish painting. She also does face painting for events and parties. She lives in Chicagoland with her husband Joe, two children, four birds and three dogs!
